| A pleasant surprise came when I opened an unexpected package
from Webra Austria. In it was a couple of bottles of very
good Austrian wine, a X'mas card and a regular engine gift box
marked Webra 91 AAR. I was about to think that Webra
thought that I have not had enough Webra 91 to sell so they send
me an extra one for X'mas. Of course I opened the box and this
is what was in the box. One of the very first 3 hand made
prototypes Webra 91 engines hand built by Mr. Peter Billis for
design proofing and various pre-production tests. I know
for sure one was destroyed in a flight test, I have the other
one in my hand and the last one is probably somewhere
unaccounted for. This particular engine was Webra's boss,
Mr. Gerhard Kaineder's personal jewel. Now it will sit in
the center stage in the trophy display window in our new store.
I had never received anything so valuable and so out of
reach. I really do not know how to thank Mr. Kaineder for
his generosity as this engine's value is way beyond that of an
engine. It also marks the relationship and friendship
between our companies.
